Dinger (DING-er); noun:

1. A joke that no one likes. Often a pun, a lazy observation, or nonsense. Often subversive of the form (meaning “not funny”).

2. The act of hitting a baseball very far.

3. A child who is making an obnoxious but joyous noise. Example: ringing a bell.

4. A penis (preferably small).
