Ancient History (c. 3000 BCE – c. 500 CE): begins with the invention of writing; includes civilizations like Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
Middle Ages (c. 500 CE – c. 1500 CE): marked by feudalism, the rise of kingdoms, and events like the Fall of the Western Roman Empire.
